Lincolnshire Rep’s Inaugural Meet & Greet
Saturday, April 18th, marked a significant milestone for the Lincolnshire motorcycling community as Paul Lucas (Mumble) hosted his very first meet-and-greet since taking over as the new Branch Representative.
The event, held at Windmill Farm – Dining & Carvery, proved to be a resounding success, drawing a crowd that spanned far beyond the county lines. Riders from Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, and Yorkshire all made the trip to support Paul in his new role.

Hospitality at Windmill Farm
Located in the heart of Lincoln, Windmill Farm proved to be the perfect host for the day. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and “home-away-from-home” feel, the venue handled the arrival of 19 bikes with ease.
Paul commented. “I’d like to thank the team at Windmill Farm for their hospitality,” “They handled our group, our banter, and our sense of humor incredibly well.”
Putting Skills to the Test: The Ride-Out
Following the meet, Tony Anderson led the group on a ride-out to the Lincolnshire Heritage Centre. The route provided a perfect opportunity for the group to practice the “second man drop-off” system.
The system worked seamlessly, though the bikes themselves faced a few minor challenges. Steve Greasley might need to restock his fuse box, and Ant Butcher surely needs a fresh pack of cable ties for his panniers, but the entire pack arrived safely. The group traded their breakfast cravings for coffee and cake upon arrival at the museum, capping off a great day of riding.
The Road Ahead
With his first event officially under his belt, Paul is eager to keep the momentum going. The focus for the branch remains on active participation and looking toward the future of the county.
- Stay Updated: Details for the next meet-and-greet will be posted on the Event Page and the Forum within the next few days.
Paul says: “Thank you again for all your support,” “What’s happened in the past stays in the past—we are focused on what’s next.”
