How to Join The Branch

Joining the Royal British Legion (RBL) supports the UK’s leading Armed Forces charity, providing vital welfare to veterans and their families. Members help tackle loneliness, fundraise for the Poppy Appeal, participate in Remembrance, and enjoy exclusive social camaraderie, discounts, and voting rights in the charity’s direction, with fees starting at just £22 per year.

Joining the Riders Branch (RBLR) also supports the UK’s leading Armed Forces charity, providing vital welfare to veterans and their families. In addition to this when you join the Riders Branch you are joining a national, indeed worldwide branch that is passionate about motorcycles and motorcycling and the camaraderie that brings with it.

How to Join The Branch

The Riders Branch is a National Branch of the Royal British Legion, it is not an independent branch and as such you cannot join the Riders Branch without first joining The Royal British Legion. This might sound rather complicated but it really isn’t!

If you are currently a Royal British Legion member and you wish to join the Riders Branch you do not have to transfer branches to join us, you can be a member of more than one Branch if you wish, but, you will have to pay the Branch Subscription fee for each Branch that you are a member of (defined by each branch).

If you are not a Royal British Legion member all you need to do is Click to Join . It is very quick and easy to do. Under the “My Membership” section of the joining form, you will be able to join local or national branches (up to 4). Under National Branches, you will find the Riders Branch, please select this option to join us.

If you need further assistance you can download our excellent “how to join us” leaflet below, follow the instructions on the accordion below or phone the British Legion and ask for help. The RBL helpline is on 0800 3077773
