Kicking off our August month of ‘weekenders’ again – Hopefully better weather this year and event will definitely be subject to a weather check before attending this year!!!- BUT if all good…..Come and join us for the day or plan a weekend away with us at this spectacular event near Matlock!
CROMFORD STEAM RALLY
From steam traction engines, showman’s engines, road rollers to vintage cars, motorcycles, and commercial lorries, you will find a great selection of historical vehicles and exhibits when visiting the steam rally, guaranteed to be informative and educational. We have great examples of farming heritage on display including, vintage tractors, stationary engines and bygones. Our popular working plant area displays the very best in plant and machinery in their very own working field and our ever-increasing military display with living history groups, prove very popular. Cromford Steam Rally also has a fun filled fairground with old and new rides for all the family to enjoy.

There is lots for all the family to see and do at Cromford Steam and every year the team strive to put on a different show with new exhibits to be enjoyed. And remember it’s not just vehicles at Cromford Steam Rally, we have children’s entertainment, brass bands, market stalls, singers, entertainers, craft marquee, model tent, miniatures and food and drink vendors.
We have been given free access for RBLR members who wish to come and man the stall either Saturday or Sunday or both!! But for those wishing to stay over to make a weekend of it and enjoy the on-site bar for a few beers, evening entertainment and the usual banter that ensues, the stand will be set up on the Friday evening and staying until Sunday afternoon!!
We do need to let the organisers know though so the access wristbands can be sorted, who’s coming on what day or whether you’re up for a weekend of mayhem!! – Let me know in the thread below.
**For Notts Guys local to me – I’ll be at Asda Fuel Station NG17 2AH on Friday 2nd at 14:00hrs if any wish to accompany me to the site if available otherwise make your way to the venue as and when you can get there. We are to be sited with the Military Vehicles near the main arena.

** Please be aware that there is no vehicle movement between 09:00 and 17:00hrs whilst the event is open to public access during the day**
