NI Members at Ballymoney Motorcycle Show

On 27th and 28th February 2026, our Northern Ireland crew proudly attended the annual Ballymoney Motorcycle Show, flying the flag for both the Branch and the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

Alongside hosting a dedicated Poppy Appeal stall, members also organised a donation of quality used motorcycle clothing, generously given to help raise additional funds over the course of the weekend. Thanks to the hard work of the team — and the generosity of visitors to the show — a fantastic £588.34 was raised for the Poppy Appeal.

A sincere thank you goes to all those who gave their time to support the event:

Friday Team:
Nigel, Billy, Michael, Andrea, Sophia, John, Will, Arun, Jimmy Mac

Saturday Team:
Nigel, Billy, John, Mandy, Arun

It was also great to catch up with William and Peter Barton, who kindly called in to say hello and show their support.

Overall, it was a thoroughly successful weekend — raising vital funds, promoting the Poppy Appeal, and strengthening connections within the motorcycling community.

Well done to everyone involved.

About the Ballymoney Motorcycle Show

The annual Ballymoney Motorcycle Show has become a popular fixture in the Northern Ireland motorcycling calendar. Drawing riders, enthusiasts, traders, and clubs from across the province and beyond, the event showcases a wide range of machines — from classic and vintage bikes to modern sports, touring, and custom builds.

The show provides an excellent opportunity for motorcycle clubs and charitable organisations to engage with the public, promote road safety, and support good causes. With trade stands, club displays, riding gear suppliers, and plenty of time for conversation and camaraderie, it offers much more than just bikes on display — it brings together the wider biking community in a welcoming and supportive environment.

For our Northern Ireland crew, it remains an important event not only for fundraising but also for strengthening relationships within the local motorcycling scene and raising awareness of the work we do throughout the year.
