The Newcastle and Gateshead Branch of RAFA are organising their usual Battle of Britain commemoration service on Sunday 22nd September and as always have extended an invitation to the Riders Branch. I propose that those who wish to attend meet up at McDonalds at Silverlink ready to depart from there at 1300 hrs to ride up to Jesmond in plenty of time to be seated in the church ready for the service to start at 1400hrs.

This is an event where Berets and Medals would be appropriate for those who wish to wear them. Wired white silk scarfs while I’m sure much apricated by our light blue brothers and sisters and fine for wearing on the bikes are no to be worn inside the Church !   The service will be followed by a buffet.
