ANZAC Remembrance Harrogate
ANZAC REMEMBRANCE CHARITABLE INCORPORATED ORGANISATION
would like to extend a warm invitation for your attendance at this year’s
ANZAC day ceremony, kindly hosted by The Commonwealth War Graves
Commission.
The ceremony will be held on Sunday 26th April 2026, at Stonefall
Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery and will commence sharply at 1pm.
Guests are invited to arrive from 12.15 at the Forest Lane entrance of the
cemetery.
In attendance this year will be The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of North
Yorkshire,Captain Stephen UprightRN,together with His Worship the Mayor
of Harrogate Chris Aldred. Representation at the ceremony will include the
RAAF, RNDF, RAF, RAFA, USSF, FASF and the Royal British Legion. The Chief
Constable of North Yorkshire will also be in attendance, together with other
dignitaries who will be laying wreaths.
Following the ceremony, there will be a reception held at The Oatlands
Mount Club which is located at 1 Coronation Grove, Harrogate HG2 8BU.
There will be light refreshments, tea, coffee, cake and ANZAC biscuits
served
