Overseas Region

To make organisation and management of the Branch easier, we organise ourselves into Regions, and within these are Counties. Each Region has its own Regional Representative and within the regions each county has a county Representative. The countries within the Overseas region are:

  1. Scotland
  2. Spain
  3. Germany
  4. Cyprus
  5. USA
  6. Jersey
  7. BFPO
  8. All Other Countries

Motorcycling around the overseas region offers endless opportunities for exploration and connection. From remote mountain roads to bustling city routes, every country brings its own riding style, culture, and scenery. What unites riders everywhere is the shared love of the road and the freedom that comes with it. No matter where you ride from Scotland to the USA, the experience is always about discovery and community.

  • Scotland: North Coast 500 (NC500)
Often called Scotland’s Route 66, this 500-mile loop around the far north packs in coastal cliffs, mountain passes, and empty roads. Highlights include Bealach na Bà, dramatic Atlantic coastlines, and sweeping Highland A-roads.
  • Spain: Pyrenees – Legendary high passes like the N-260 deliver endless bends, big views, and quiet tarmac.
  • Germany: Black Forest – Fast, technical routes like the B500 with immaculate surfaces.
  • Cyprus: Troodos Mountains – Tight climbs, cooler air, and forested bends.
  • USA: Route 66 – The ultimate freedom ride across the heart of America.
  • Jersey: North Coast Road – Cliff roads with dramatic sea views.
  • BFPO: Germany Countryside – Excellent road quality and flowing rural routes near many current postings and old barrack locations.

The RBLR community overseas is vibrant, welcoming, and united by a shared sense of purpose, bringing together riders across Spain, Germany, Cyprus, the USA, Jersey, BFPO locations, and beyond. From coastal roads and mountain regions to bases and local communities around the world, members ride together in support of service, remembrance, and camaraderie. Whether attending parades, supporting commemorative events, or fundraising through collections and local initiatives, riders proudly represent the Royal British Legion wherever they are posted or choose to ride.

No matter the country or distance from home, the overseas RBLR community continues to fly the Legion flag with pride all over the world, respect, and unity.
