RBLR 1000 Ride – Challenge Yourself

The next RBLR1000 is from the 5th to the 7th June 2026
Ride Date 6th June 2026

Are you up for an unforgettable challenge?
This epic, sponsored long-distance motorcycle ride isn’t just about the miles—it’s about making a difference. Since roaring onto the scene in 2009, it’s drawn well over 100 passionate riders each year, all united in raising vital funds for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. The open road, the camaraderie, and the cause—this is riding with purpose.

You don’t need to a an RBLR member or a veteran to take part in the RBLR1000!

Volunteer to Help

This long-running annual event, established in 2009, simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our volunteers.
Apart from helping to man registration on Friday afternoon and helping to cone off the car park when all visiting riders have left later that evening. The bulk of the work however is very early Saturday morning when riders start, and then again late Saturday evening onwards as the tired riders finish.

If you’d like to join us for the whole weekend, there’s still plenty of time to relax. You can spend Saturday morning resting or head out for some sightseeing, shopping, or a ride before we meet again for the Saturday afternoon briefing. It’s a great way to enjoy the weekend while helping out, without being busy the entire time.

We serve riders hot food and drinks at the finish, so if you’d like to help by running the tea bar and making bacon butties or hot dogs for a few hours on Saturday evening, that alone would be a great way to contribute for the whole weekend.

Free camping is available on-site to all volunteers or there’s plenty of accommodation options nearby, including 3 Premier Inns all less than 15 minutes away.

Volunteers support is vital to the RBLR1000’s success, and we’re always grateful for every helping hand.
We simply couldn’t do it without you—your help truly makes the difference!
