South Central Region

To make organisation and management of the Branch easier, we organise ourselves into Regions, and within these are Counties. Each Region has its own Regional Representative and within the regions each county has a county Representative. The county’s within the South Central region are:
- Berkshire
- Dorset
- Hampshire
- Isle Of Wight
- Wiltshire
Motorcycling across Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, the Isle of Wight and Dorset offers some very rewarding riding in the South of England. With sweeping routes alongside the Jurassic coastline to the iconic chalk cliffs of the South Downs Way, to the winding A-roads of the central area of the region, to the wooded lanes of Berkshire and Wiltshire, every journey serves up new scenery and fresh adventure. Historic villages, rolling farmland, vibrant seaside towns, and miles of peaceful countryside make these counties perfect for relaxed rides, weekend tours, and lively meet-ups. Whether you’re exploring country pubs, taking in coast-to-coast views, or simply enjoying quiet backroads beneath a leafy canopy, the ride is always the highlight.

- Purbeck Hills Adventure: A ride through the Purbeck Hills, featuring narrow, winding roads, coastal views, and a stop at Old Harry Rocks.

What Derek, the Regional Rep for the South Central Region has to say about the region:
The RBLR community in the South is active, welcoming, and proudly committed to the values of the Royal British Legion. The riders bring together a shared passion for motorcycling with a dedication to remembrance and charitable support. Whether taking part in Poppy Appeal collections on bustling high streets, supporting local Legion branches at events and parades, or flying the RBLR colours at remembrance services from coastal towns to cathedral cities, members are constantly out on the road doing good.
It’s a region full of energy and camaraderie — friendly, forward-looking, and always ready to ride with purpose and pride.
