RBLR 1000 Ride – Routes

The Routes

There are three main routes to ride which all start and finish at Squires Cafe Bar, B1222, Newthorpe, near Sherburn in Elmet, West Yorkshire, LS25 5LX.

The Northern and Southern routes are just over 1000 miles and can be ridden in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. There’s also a shorter 500 mile route which also can be ridden in either direction too. This means you actually have six routes in total to choose from.
Once you have decided which route you would like to ride and in which direction please progress to the next step.

Northern Routes

The Northern route starts and finishes at Squires Cafe Bar, near Sherburn in Elmet, West Yorkshire.
The route can be ridden clockwise or anti-clockwise and sees riders passing some beautiful landmarks such as Loch Lomond, Lock Ness and the Commando Memorial near Spean Bridge.

By completing this route inside 24 hrs and collecting receipts from the specified stops you will be verified as a lifelong member of the Iron Butt Association UK.

Southern Routes

The Southern route starts and finishes at Squires Cafe Bar, near Sherburn in Elmet, West Yorkshire.
The route can be ridden clockwise or anti-clockwise and sees riders riding the spectacular Welsh coastline and passing landmarks such as Stone Henge in Wiltshire.

By completing this route inside 24 hrs and collecting receipts from the specified stops you will be verified as a lifelong member of the Iron Butt Association UK. 

500 Mile Routes

The 500 mile route starts and finishes at Squires Cafe Bar, near Sherburn in Elmet, West Yorkshire.
The route can be ridden clockwise or anti-clockwise and sees riders riding the spectacular coastline of Cumbria as well as many other beautiful English landmarks.

By completing this route you will NOT be verified as a lifelong member of the Iron Butt Association UK but will receive a certificate of recognition.
