Although there were some very sore heads (no names, no pack drill – if you know, you know!) from the night/early morning before, the days activities started at 1300 hrs in earnest with an ‘Old Peculiar’ bike show where we managed to shamelessly advertise the Riders Branch by supplying the MAG Marshals for the event with Riders Branch Pucks for those bikes taking part that used side stands on the grass (there was even a bike that was using blocks of wood to hold it upright after having new tyres fitted and not being able to use its centre stand!). The evening entertainment kicked off properly at 1800 hrs with a comedy show and then the music began again in earnest, with again people talking until about 0200 hrs (even though it had started raining – or as I heard shouted several times, “pouring liquid sunshine!” – by then!).

Sunday morning carried on with the rain and although the Rally wasn’t due to finish until 1200 hrs, nobody visited the trade stand areas, however, the food and coffee vendors did a brisk trade before the majority of attendees started the wet journey home.

All in all an excellent weekend was had by all and we now have the National Rally in Cleethorpes (24 – 26 July) to look forward to, as well as the MAG Farmyard Rally (19 – 21 June) being held the week after and the MAG Yorkshire Pudding Rally (31 July – 02 Aug).

As a region, Yorkshire would be happy to see any of you that attend these rallies in the future!

Yorkshire Region attended the MAG Into The Valley Rally at Driffield Show-ground over the May…

[53

post-4440","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
