The destination? The annual&nbsp;Classic and American Car Show, a great event framed by the windmill&#8217;s iconic six sails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day was a masterclass in nostalgia. While the American muscle cars drew plenty of eyes, the&nbsp;Notts riders&nbsp;found themselves drawn to the everyday icons of British motoring history. The show field was packed with the very machines that many grew up with, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ford Granadas:<\/strong>&nbsp;The heavy-weight kings of the 70s and 80s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ford Cortinas:<\/strong>&nbsp;A true blast from the past for any vintage enthusiast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ford Escorts:<\/strong>&nbsp;Bringing back memories of Sunday drives and classic rallies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The warmth didn&#8217;t deter the group, as the clear skies made for a perfect run out to Derbyshire. Between admiring the chrome and chatting with fellow enthusiasts, the riders enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the windmill grounds, making the most of the peak spring sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the
