Alongside this flagship event, the Northern Ireland RBLR year members are highly visible within the community, providing bike displays, manning stalls, and leading rides in support of local Royal British Legion branches, including valued support for branches such as Randalstown. These events not only raised funds but also strengthened ties with local communities.

Memorial riding remains central to the Northern Ireland RBLR activities. Respects are paid at a number of important sites, including Massereene, Whitebrae, and Lisburn during the Falklands Ride of Respect. Members also travelled further afield for Somme remembrance in Dublin, as well as memorial events in Limavady and Carrickfergus. Each ride serves as a powerful reminder of why the branch rides and who it represents.

The social side of RBLR life remains just as strong with regular Veteran breakfasts combined with ride-outs to places such as HMS Caroline, the Ulster Aviation Society, Portavogie Veterans’ Centre, and the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum and further afield, with members travelling across the water to represent Northern Ireland at the Royal British Legion Riders Branch National Rally and AGM, as well as taking part in the annual ride to the National Arboretum.

Northern Ireland isn’t just a place to ride—it’s a place to belong.
