SUMMARY:North East Rideout and BBQ
DESCRIPTION:Coastal and Rural Northumberland rideout with BBQ lunch en route. Steve Bradley Tyne and Wear Rep will be leading the rideout unless it clashes with the football in which case I will be looking for another volunteer. The route will go along the seafront at Tynemouth to Blyth then picking up the coast and castle route as far as Amble before cutting inland towards Rothbury and ultimately a picnic area on the B6341 where a support team will have a BBQ waiting for you at 1300hrs. After Lunch the ride will continue onto Belsay before ending at the A1 western bypass from where you can safely make your way home.\nThere will be a charge of £6 pp for the BBQ. Please not there will be no salmon grilled in aspic with asparagus dressing or anything else fancy so please don’t ask. There will however will be a burger, sausage and chicken options plus a bun, salads etc and a soft drink. We can probably cope with vegetarian needs if required but you will need to let me know if this applies to you.
